Birmingham Reads Day
Birmingham Reads Day is a reading awareness initiative that places guest readers in classrooms. Our amazing group of volunteers will read to all Kindergarten through 5th grade classrooms at every Birmingham City elementary school in one afternoon!
Also, thanks to the generosity of Books-A-Million, each child will be given a book for their home library!
Birmingham Reads Day will occur on April 14, 2011 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
We could not touch the lives of these children without wonderful volunteers! We would love to have you join us!
